Yolanda Shashaty
My work has always been a combination of nature and abstraction .My recent paintings convey a living, organic abstraction. They refer to both the dynamic microcosm of nature in cells and molecules along with the macrocosm of the oceans, planets and the universe.. It’s what I call “otherworldly abstraction.” My work has been shown in New York, Washington, D.C. and Connecticut and is part of such major corporate collections as Met Life, AT&T and Exxon Mobil.
