My new work is a mix of nature and abstraction; nature for its inspiration and universality and abstraction for the freedom to take nature where I want to go. My purpose has always been to make paintings that communicate in a personal and direct way. My work has been exhibited in New York, Washington, D.C., and Dallas, as well as such museums as the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art and the Butler Institute of American Art. It is included in corporate collections such as Exxon Mobil and AT&T and numerous private collections.
